 SPOTLIGHT
A Day Without...Money - Saturday, June 25
Forty percent of the world's population (2.6 billion people) lives on less than $2 a day compared with the average Amercian that lives on $105 a day. To fully experience and appreciate what life is like without the resources we are accustomed to, we are challenging ourselves to live on $2 or less on Saturday, June 25. This includes food and other necessities. For more information to help with the "how to" of A Day Without Money click on the link.
VBS - June 20th - 24th
Please register your child (4 years old through 5th grade) for VBS. VBS is June 20th-24th from 9:00 to 11:30am at Newberg Friends Church. Teen and adult volunteers still needed. You can sign up at the door. For more information contact Teacher Kim at 503-538-6199.
Adopt-A-Block - East 3rd & 9th Street BBQs: June 27th & 28th @ 6:00 pm
Our Adopt-A-Block BBQ's are back! Join us Monday the 27th for the E. 3rd St. BBQ or Tuesday the 28th for the 9th St. BBQ. If you would like to be part of this experience, email Dan Busch (E. 3rd) or Clyde & Teri Zahn (9th St.)
