 SPOTLIGHTVBS - STARTS TODAY!!!
Please register your child (4 years old through 5th grade) for VBS. VBS is June 20th-24th from 9:00 to 11:30am at Newberg Friends Church.You can sign up at the door. For more information contact Teacher Kim at 503-538-6199.
A Day Without...Money - Saturday, June 25
Forty percent of the world's population (2.6 billion people) lives on less than $2 a day compared with the average Amercian that lives on $105 a day. To fully experience and appreciate what life is like without the resources we are accustomed to, we are challenging ourselves to live on $2 or less on Saturday, June 25. Adopt-A-Block - East 3rd & 9th Street BBQs: June 27th & 28th @ 6:00 pm
Our Adopt-A-Block BBQ's are back! Join us Monday the 27th for the E. 3rd St. BBQ or Tuesday the 28th for the 9th St. BBQ. If you would like to be part of this experience, email Dan Busch (E. 3rd) or Clyde & Teri Zahn (9th St.)
Life Transformation Groups
LTG'S will conclude at the end of June. You may continue to meet with your group during the summer, if you wish. Small groups will be starting in the Fall, and LTG's will start back up in January.
Open Your Home to the World-Host a Student!
Volunteer to host a Chinese exchange student this Summer for 3 weeks (July 14-July 31). For more information email Will Romaine.
Men's Retreat
Registration for Men's Retreat begins THIS Sunday, June 26th. We will be at Washington Family Ranch, October 1-16 and the cost is $119. Registration forms will be available at the Men's Retreat table in the church lobby.
